Mulberry Tree Playgroup

Mulberry Tree Playgroup offers a unique and alternative form of experience for children aged between 0 and 6 years and their parents. Our two hour facilitated sessions, designed by our enthusiastic committee of parents and educators, focus on child-led play and building connections within families and between families.  Our passion is supporting diverse families on their parenting journey.

During the early childhood years, children live very much in their imagination and we see this as the best place for them to begin their learning. Every child has a deep curiosity, and this innate curiosity drives children to work out where they fit within their world.  

We are a not-for-profit organisation, and there are no prerequisites for attending Mulberry Tree Playgroup. We offer financial assistance to families who may struggle to pay term fees. Please contact us for a completely confidential chat.

We are a safe space for diverse families. In any of our sessions, you might find carers and children who:

  • speak languages other than English,

  • identify as Aboriginal,

  • live in a multigenerational home,

  • identify as LGBTQI+,

  • are neurodiverse including autism, ADHD and other neurodiversities,

  • were born in countries other than Australia,

  • are a member of a church or follow a religion.

Every person who joins our Mulberry village is accepted for who they are, without judgement.
